the name old house productions originated when I was in college in Savannah, GA. We were assigned to create a logo for ourselves. Expecting everyone else in class to use their names as a basis for their logos, I was thinking about other ideas. With an hour left to do the assignment, nothing was coming to me. I walked into my apartment (which was, in fact a converted old house), and said something along the lines of “this old piece of junk house...” the light bulb snapped on. I did a sketch, went to class, and offered it up to the scrutiny of my peers. As expected, everyone else based their designs off their names. I was very happy with the reaction, the name has stuck ever since.
